Fly Fishing 101 - Orvis Casting Course at The Old Mill FREE!!!!The Bend Orvis Store and Trout Unlimited are partnering in July to introduce new anglers to the sport of fly fishing. With so many newcomers often intimidated by fly casting, Trout Unlimited volunteers will be on hand each Saturday in July 2010 during either a 9am-10am or 11am-12pm session to walk participants through basic fly casting on the Orvis 18 hole Casting Course at the Old Mill Mall. Modeled after local fishing areas, the Casting Course is a perfect venue to conveniently expose novice and experienced casters alike to the various situations one might encounter while out on the water. Come take advantage of this great event to give new fly fishers a chance to learn how to cast a fly rod, free of cost. All ages and beginning skill levels are welcome to attend this Fly Casting 101 event. Space is limited. RSVP at the Bend Orvis Store to reserve your space.
