Much of the river is closed, but the Henry's Fork is open all year between the Warm River confluence and Ashton Dam, and downstream from Vernon Bridge. Check the regs carefully.

Midges, some blue-winged olives, and streamers are most effective in this water. Sculpin patterns and streamers can lure large trout in the channels and deeper slots. Keep your flies near the bottom. You may see some midge activity in the afternoon.

Pick a warm day to go fishing. It may seem counter-intuitive, but snowy days are often warmer than clear days.
