Like other Columbia Basin lakes, this trio should shake off the August doldrums and be a good producer by the last week of September. Don't head over here, though, as soon as you here that the water temperature is in the mid-60s. Give the poor trout a week or so to recover from the warm water.

Be prepared to fish a midge pupa pattern three ways: slow retrieve, deep midge, or static midge.

Streamer patterns such as Woolly Buggers, Seal Buggers, and leeches should also do well. Waterboatmen may also be present along the edges where the water is less than five feet deep. Hopper and terrestrial patterns are useful, too.
