First, Westfly and angling public need to know how to contact you. Here's what you should put in each of the spaces in this section:

  1. For "company name," use the name of your business as it would appear on a brochure, yellow pages listing, etc.
  2. "Contact" is your name; if Westfly has questions about your listing or needs to contact you, whom should we ask for? Your name is not displayed as part of your advertising.
  3. "Phone" is your business telephone, whatever number both Westfly and clients can reach you at.
  4. "Mailing Address" is used by Westfly. It isn't displayed as part of your advertising.
  5. "E-mail address" is listed on Westfly. If you don't have e-mail, leave this space blank. Renewal notices will be sent to this e-mail address. If there is no e-mail address, renewal notices will be sent to the mailing address.
  6. "Website address" is listed on Westfly and a link is provided. If you don't have a website, leave this field blank.

ext you need to tell us about your business. In addition to the description of your service that is displayed on Westfly, we need to be able to categorize your service, know what parts of the state you operate in, know what rivers, lakes, bays, etc., you provide a service for. We use these latter items are help anglers find your ad: they may ask for a particular type of service on a specific body of water (e.g., all fly-fishing guides on the Beaverhead), or ask for a particular region (e.g., all services in northeast Oregon).

Here's what you should put in each of the spaces:

  1. For "Type of Business," check each box that applies.
  2. "Regions Served" correspond to the regions shown on the map. Check all that apply.
  3. "Fisheries" means all the rivers, lakes, bays, etc. that apply to your business. This is a multiple selection list, so if you are using a PC, scroll through the list and hold down the control key while you click on each one that applies. If you're using a Mac, hold down the command key while clicking.
  4. Now describe your service in 100 words or less. This may get edited slightly by Westfly for clarity. You may find it helpful to compose the description using a word processing program, then when it looks good to you, paste it into this spot.
  5. Your listing inlcudes a photo (no extra charge), so send a print, slide, or brochure to Westfly; the e-mail address is richmond@Westfly, and the snail-mail address is 19996 S. Sweetbriar Rd, West Linn, OR 97068

Last, type in a password so you can edit your entry at some later time. And we need to know whether you're going to pay for your ad now or be invoiced.

  1. "Password" is any combination of letters and numbers that you can remember. If you want to come back later and edit your entry, use this password. If you forget your password, send us mail (click "contact us" in the left margin).
  2. You can pay on-line with a credit card, or ask Westfly to send you an invoice. If you use a credit card, you will be listed immediately. Listings are $35 per year, or $60 for two years, or $70 for three years.
  3. If you do not wish to pay now with a credit card, you will receive an invoice from Westfly in the mail. There is an extra $5.00 charge if you are invoiced; this is to cover the cost of the extra paperwork.
  4. Finally, when you've entered everything and are ready to submit your listing, click the "I'm Done" button
