Rotary Fly-Tying Techniques offers detailed instructions and photographs on tying 36 flies, along with descriptions and photographs of several full rotary vises. Each of the selected flies emphasizes a specific technique, or techniques.

A brief history of rotary vises is also included, along with an explanation of the difference between rotating-style and full rotary vises.

The tying techniques are presented in a clear and concise way that is easy to read and understand. While the content targets true rotary vises, the techniques are readily adaptable to other rotating-style vises.

Rotary Fly-Tying Techniques is directed at individuals who currently own, or are contemplating the purchase of a rotary-style vise. The level of detail makes this book a good choice for an advanced fly tier who wants to improve his or her tying ability, as well as learn some new tricks. It is the only book of its kind on the market, and should be in the library of anyone who owns a rotary vise.
