WING: Dark dun Z-lon, tied as post for parachute-style hackle

TAIL: Blue dun Betts Tailing Fibers, tied split

BODY: Light olive Ultra Chenille extended past hook bend

HACKLE: Blue dun, tied parachute-style

THORAX: Blue-winged-olive Superfine

 

Uses

Imitates the dun stage of a blue-winged olive (Baetis) mayfly, and is used during a hatch when newly-emerged duns are on the surface.

How to Fish

Dress the fly with floatant and use standard dry fly presentations.
