Uses

The Gulper Special is often used in lakes and slow waters where trout cruise along and gulp down the hatch of the day, usually Callibaetis mayflies. The fly rides low and is easy to spot because of the white wing.

Dress the fly with floatant and use the chuck-and-sit presentation.
