BODY: Spun olive-dyed deer hair, clipped to shape

LEGS: Brown hen hackle fibers. Tie to sides

BEARD: Moose mane. Tie to past the hook point, then clip.

Uses

Imitates the larval stage of an aquatic beetle. The fly is unweighted.

Variations

Other useful colors are brown and tan.

How to Fish

Use a slow retrieve with occasional spurts and twitches. Cast near weedy areas.
