Uses

This is a fine small imitation that works for small blackfly larvae as well as some microcaddis. It seems to work regardless of populations of either insect, most likely because it is small and few people fish small nymphs.

How to Fish

You can use this fly as a dropper off another imitation of a fastwater insect (Rithrogena mayfly, Rhyacophila caddis, Calineuria stonefly, etc). Fish it with a tight line or indicator presentation in fast, riffly water.
