UsesThis fly imitates the larvae of the net building caddisfly (genus Hydropsyche; the spotted caddis) that is common in many Western rivers. VariationsUseful color variations are amber and green. Sample a few Hydropsychids in the river to see which color prodominates. You can weight the fly with lead under the body or with a beadhead.
