THREAD: Black

HEAD: 1/8" or 3/32" gold or silver bead

TAIL (OPTIONAL): Black goos biots, tied "V" style

BODY: Black Haretron

RIBBING: Fine silver tinsel

THORAX: Black Haretron

HACKLE: Natural light partridge

Uses

Beneral attractor patterns, Pupatator variations work in all seasons all around the West. See the article about them.

A CDC Pupatator uses natural dun CDC for the hackle. Other variations on the Pupatator theme are the Peacock Pupatator, Improved Pupatator, Fuzzball, and Hizzo.

Dead drift near the bottom with an indicator or tight line presentation.
