    Weeds.....lots of my yard

      Ever growing leaves on the tree outside our balcony (and the spent buds all over my car...). Also, a willing smallmouth (though just the one) last week is a good sign:

            First 70 degree day at work and everyone looses there freaking minds around the nursery....just like clockwork.

            Sunburned my head doing yard work today. It's spring.

              Frogs. Croaking in the front yard. Croaking in the backyard. Croaking in the pasture.

              Young steers in my neighbors pasture.

              Lots of birds at the feeders. It starts with juncos in the winter. Then add chickadees and the occasional downy woodpecker. Then come the finches and jays and everything else. Its a constantly changing picture.

              Grass. Lots and lots of green grass. This time of year my life is devoted to keeping grass under control. If I don't, it will come in the window one night and strangle me in my bed.

              The yen to go fishing.

                Frogs croaking in our crawlspace, until we got the sump pump issue dealt with. And according to my wife, they would croak in response to my snoring.
