    AHHHHH MAY!

Here's a link to the Wetlands Conservancy exhibit at La Sells-Giustina Gallery, OSU that just opened Thursday:

    https://wetlandsconservancy.org/stew...s-art-exhibit/

I have four works in the show. Here's a link to images of all the pieces accepted:

We went to the opening and I have to say this is an excellent show with a great variety of art expressing the beauty of our tides and estuaries. It will travel around the State after this month. Check it out if you have a chance.

Here's one of my paintings in the show:

we all need to be good at something...it's satisfying, challenging and rewarding...since i am not much of a fly fisherman...and live vicariously through folks posts that obviously are.

Caddistwin, Alice has become quite the tattoo artist. Here's one of her designs she did for her big brother, Clayton. It's of Buddy, our pet bluegill of ten years.

ID:	11005 A fellow brought me some walnut limbs that have been down for several years and wanted a net built for his son. With no mill, I cut pieces with a chainsaw and then attached them to a straight edge when they were small enough for my table saw. The boards came out ok.

But I was most surprised by how this old walnut took the teak oil.

There are also quite a few of these in the natural parts of the yard. Not much of a plant from 5 feet away (just one sparse leaf), but a pretty cool little flower. Most of them are more pale than this guy. Anyone know what it is?
