Well, it looks like you were able to pull off starting a thread just fine. But I on the other hand, am having trouble just posting an image. Is there a size limit for image files, or is clicking two buttons just too much for me to do without error these days?

Attempts to upload a jpg file are still producing nothing but and error message. :-(

        1. Save your image to a .jpg such that the largest dimension is no larger than 800 pixels.

        2. Click this:

          Congratulations Patrick. Well done!

Like with all tech stuff, it's all about getting the sequence right, and here, the maximum image size is key. I go with Arlen's tip of the 900 pix limit, and it works fine, as long as I do the size editing and save to my desktop before uploading to Westfly. That way you don't need to use the "Full size" click in step 4.
In my world the less clicks, the better.

Patrick, that's much simpler than the method I've been using. Mine works but has many more steps. You should start a new thread with your post and bump it from time to time.

maximum 800 pix. wide is the problem...I always save to files at 1200...easy peasy

Thanks all. The file I was trying to upload was well over 800 pixels. That size limitation reminds me of the last century in a way.

The 800 pixel limit sure took the edge off the shot.

of course you know there are so many variables with pixelated limits online...it's an indicator only not a great representation...and then there is any viewers screen image and the set up they have...but it is fun to share...low light images like yours need the pixels...the max on FB is 1200

There are so many talented posters to these arts and crafts threads that always impress me. The picture upload limits are real. Maybe you guys could give us a clickable link to a personal website where we could all enjoy your work fully.
