  • Paulina and Crane

Left the house Friday morning hit Paulina at 10:10 fishing was slow for me, but I managed 1 decent Brown to about six pounds. Mini leech under an indicator proved deadly. I drove over to East but they had it all closed off except for the middle boat ramp. There was a ton of Kokes in the shallows. I drove down the Hill and stayed at the Quinn boat ramp. Morning temp was 18 degrees. Thank goodness they had the porta potties open! Fished Crane all day and managed 8 fish to hand. The largest was about 8lbs. Chironomids and Mini leeches were the Ticket. Get out there and do some Fall fishing. You won't Regret it.

    Hey Rob
I was up at East on Friday and wish I was at Paulina. First day that I can remember without a bump or a follow as far as trout fishing is concerned. We flat out got skunked.
Only a few other boats fishing and no catching that I saw.
8 nice fish at Crane sounds like a great day.
    Keep on catching
    A.

I second what Rob said. Was at Crane yesterday hooked 10 landed 6. All the landed fish were on a black balanced leech. Weather was AMAZING!

Too late for me this year. Digging season has begun.

            Next year...

Ok Amigo. Next year, but I'll be there Saturday if you want to fish.
