Went to the coast yesterday to gather more material for an upcoming show curated by the Wetlands Conservancy and OSU. I had a difficult time getting shots of the tide pools through the surface reflection. Here I held my hat over the water to 'penetrate' the reflection, revealing a starfish working on a mussel.

Still having fun playing with the 4x5 film camera. Made a trip to the Painted Hills recently. Here's a shot from the trip.

Gary, what kind of 4x5 are you using?

Years ago I had a Toyo field camera that I lugged around. It was fun, but heavy.

‘Tie the season. I’m in the process of finishing the annual Christmas Santas. It’s a fun diversion from fish and birds. But... I’m ready to be finished and get back to serious carving.

I wrote a novel. It doesn't have anything to do with fishing. Even with that glaring weakness, Mr. Fuzzy says I can post a chapter here. There is also a link to the Amazon page where you can purchase the book.

                    Here is the site:

The cover and first chapter are posted as images below. Enjoy!

You don't need no gypsy to tell you why,
You can't let one precious day slip by.

Scott, I have a Wista 4x5 wooden field camera. It's pretty light, and a lot of fun to play with.
